In China, there are Chinese, In Egypt, Egyptians, Africa has Africans and
I even lived in Japan once for several years while serving in the United States Marine Corps, and in the first six months I was there I went to the same restaurant and ordered the same “number 6” on the menu.
I had little interest in learning the language maybe as little as they had in learning mine but it wasn’t until later that I learned that “number six” on the menu was monkey meat and it was then that I realized that it was me that needed to adjust not them, and so I did, I learned to speak and write passable Japanese and life got a little easier for me
You see in Japan, they speak, read and live a Japanese culture and had no interest in celebrating Thanksgiving, the fourth of July, Easter, Martin Luther Kings Birthday or any other American holiday for that matter and yet here in America we have all but eradicated and committed democide against the original sons and daughters of this nation. There is nothing to celebrate the American Indian accept American Indian awareness month which even here in a City like Kansas City Missouri, big businesses refuse to acknowledge because at the moment, there is no money in it.
We have replaced this countries identity with Kwanzaa, El Día de la Batalla de Puebla or as we know it Cinco de Mayo, it is not Mexico’s Independence Day but recognizes the day of the battle of Puebla. The Chinese New Year celebration, St. Patrick’s Day, Columbus Day, Juneteenth and we haven’t even begun to sift through the religious holidays of which none recognize or reflect the American Indian beliefs or the many flags that are raised to honor the very country people came here to escape and most have never even been to.
We have allowed ourselves to be turned into competitors for our race ie. First African American to … first Woman to…. and like any competition there has to be winners and losers, poor sports and sympathizers. Some can and will call it diversity I still call it dividing of the races but what ever you want to call it and for whatever it’s worth… its not working.
When people support mass migration of illegal aliens simply because they are both of the same race and refuse to look at what’s best for this nation as a whole then it is nothing less than racism, when “African Americans” build schools and hospitals in another country and yet refuse to acknowledge that the schools and hospitals in the State or country they are citizens of and have gained their very fortune from is falling apart and you are doing nothing for them, then that is simply nothing more than racism.
We have to look beyond race and the race baiters, there’s nothing wrong with exploring your lineage but you should keep in mind at the end of the day, you are American.
America belongs to the American Indian and America should identify and celebrate its roots because there are no “Africans, Hispanics, Asians, Korean Americans, there are simply Americans, and the sooner we realize that we hijacked this country and swept its people and identity under the rug, the sooner we can heal.
